Precautions For Using AERTI Oxygen Concentrator

1. The oxygen concentrator has "five fears"-fear of fire, heat, dust, moisture and long time not use without protection. 

Therefore, when using an oxygen concentrator, be sure to keep it away from fire sources, avoid direct light (sunlight), 

high temperature environment; usually pay attention to replacement and cleaning and disinfection of nasal tubes, 

oxygen delivery tubes, humidifier bottle etc. to prevent cross infection. And regularly use the machine at least 3-4 times

 a week. And no less than one hour each time.

2. When the oxygen concentrator is left unused for a long time, the power should be cut off, the water in the humidifier 

bottle should be drained, the surface of the oxygen concentrator should be wiped clean, covered with a plastic cover, 

and stored in a dry place without sunlight. Before transporting the machine, the water in the humidifier bottle should 

be drained. Water or moisture in the oxygen concentrator will damage important parts (such as molecular sieves, 

compressors, gas control valves, etc.).

3. The voltage is very important to the machine, when the oxygen concentrator is running, the voltage must be stable. 

If the voltage is too high or too low, the instrument will be damaged. For users in remote rural areas, old communities

with obsolete lines, or industrially developed areas, it is recommended to purchase a voltage regulator.

4. When the oxygen concentrator is in use, ensure that the bottom exhaust is unobstructed, so do not place on foam, 

carpets and other items that are not easy to dissipate heat and exhaust, also keep at least 20cm away from the 

surrounding walls, curtains, and others objects; and it should not be placed in a small, unventilated area.

5. Humidification device of oxygen concentrator, commonly known as: humidifier bottle, distilled water or purified 

water should be added during use. The water in the humidifier bottle should be placed between MIN and MAX line. 

The interface of the humidifier bottle should be tightened to prevent oxygen leakage. And the humidifier bottle may 

block if not clear for a long time, so the humidifier and also tubes should be clean and disinfect regularly.

The primary filter and secondary filter systems of the oxygen concentrator should be cleaned and replaced regularly 

according to user instruction.
