How To Properly Clean The Humidification Bottle Of An Oxygen Concentrator

Proper cleaning of a humidification bottle requires 3 steps.

1. Remove the humidification bottle from the machine, clean it with neutral detergent and rinse it with clean water;

2. mix white vinegar and hot water at a ratio of 1:3, soak the humidifier in the mixture for 30 minutes for disinfection;

3. rinse the humidification bottle thoroughly with warm water and dry it for later use. 

How often should the humidification bottle of the oxygen concentrator be cleaned?

It is best to clean the humidification bottle of the oxygen generator every 3 days or so, and replace the water in 

the humidification bottle every 2 to 3 days. In summer, when the temperature is too high, the water in the humidification 

bottle is more likely to breed bacteria. More frequent replacement is recommended.

If it is not used for several days, drain all the water and dry it for later use. 

Correctly use and clean the humidificatio bottle is very important while you use the oxygen concentrator for treatment.
